In their own words
Real results. Real people.
I walked in with no real lifting background and a 135 lb deadlift. Jon never pushed weight until my movement was locked in. Over consistent coaching, we took that deadlift to 540 lbs without ever getting hurt.
David
135 lbs → 540 lbs deadlift
I started out struggling to press 15 lb dumbbells. Jon taught me proper positioning and built my confidence. At 74, I just benched 85 lbs and can do full bodyweight squats with zero knee pain.
Roxan, 74
85 lb bench press · Pain-free movement
I weighed over 300 lbs when I started working with Jon. He got me moving consistently and dialed in real habits. I'm under 200 lbs now, benching 150 lbs, and hiking every single morning.

How I actually train
Anyone can count reps.
What you are actually hiring is the part that happens before the first set, and the reason behind every one after it.
- Before anything else
I find out everything about you first.
Your age. What injuries you have. Why your doctor cleared you. What you were in the hospital for. What you can and cannot do right now. We build from there, not from a template.
- What I notice
Posture is the first thing I look at.
A lot of the people I train spend most of the day at a computer, and it shows up in their posture. One client had kyphosis from the moment he walked in the door. That makes posture the number one priority, not something we get to later.
- Why, every time
You should always know why.
People ask me why an exercise works, or why I have them on a particular machine. I am good at explaining why, instead of having you follow along and hope.

The Trainer
Jon Dailey.
Hey, I'm Jon. I've spent over a decade on the gym floor helping people build real strength, move without pain, and develop habits that last. I started on the floor, earned my way to Master Trainer and Senior Trainer, and since 2017 I've run my independent coaching practice across Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley.
I train anyone and everyone. I have worked with experienced lifters in their twenties and with beginners starting again in their seventies. The training looks completely different for each of them. The honesty does not change.
Outside of coaching, I have a passion for arm wrestling and write and draw an original manga series centered around fitness and the sport. I draw it panel by panel, obsessing over the subtle leverage, biomechanics, and discipline that most people skip. That exact same attention to detail is how I coach every set and rep with you.
